Careers for Changemakers

Let’s build the future of human connection, together.

The Rithm Project exists to grow the intergenerational force of leaders needed to reclaim and rebuild human connection in the age of AI.

Over the next decade, we’re building a powerful network—and a broader cultural strategy—to galvanize 10 million young people to choose authentic connection and to use AI in ways that strengthen, rather than replace, what makes us human.

That’s an audacious goal. It will take wisdom, imagination, and deep care from leaders at the forefront of technology, learning, mental health, culture, policy, and beyond. But the connective tissue of this movement is our small but mighty core team—the people translating big ideas into real-world impact, day by day.

If you’re fired up about pushing back on isolation and helping young people become agents of change in rebuilding human connection, we want to get to know you.

Open Roles

  • As Chief of Staff, you are the strategic and operational leader responsible for turning The Rithm Project’s bold vision into aligned priorities, disciplined execution, and sustained momentum.

You serve as a trusted partner to the Founder and the coordinating force across the organization—bringing clarity where things are complex, follow through where this is opportunity, and coherence between strategy, action and resourcing.

You are the connective tissue for The Rithm Project, moving fluidly across priorities and tending to both progress and friction proactively. Approximately 60% of the role focuses on internal operations—owning planning rhythms and systems—while the remaining 40% is dedicated to fundraising enablement, ensuring the Founder is supported across funder relationships, materials, coordination, and execution.

Operating at the intersection of operations and fundraising, the Chief of Staff helps the organization run with focus, integrity, and excellence—designing systems and stewarding conversations that allow a small, mission-driven team to operate with maturity and rigor, while protecting the trust, beauty and human connection that sit at the heart of our culture.

You’re expected to connect dots with ease, anticipate needs as a second-nature, bring strong, grounded discernment, and know how to move seamlessly between vision and details—often without explicit direction.

  • As the Head of Creative Studio, you are the creative engine that brings The Rithm Project’s ideas, insights, and provocations to broad audiences.

You’ll play a key synthesis and translation role for the organization — spotting patterns and insights across our research and the work of our Changemaker Network, and translating them into a cohesive strategy of stories, products, and experiences that capture hearts and shift culture.

This role exists to hold a through-line between what the field needs to understand next, and what is actually produced, shipped, and felt. The Head of Creative Studio ensures that The Rithm Project’s voice is nuanced, youth-centered, soulful and actionable.

Zines, social media campaigns, school curricula, interactive games, op-eds and immersive theater may be your tools — but your north star is a tipping point: 10 million young people, and the adults who support them, actively choosing human connection and using AI to strengthen rather than erode relationships.

  • As our Head of Network, you will be the architect, steward, and catalyst of The Rithm Project’s Changemaker Network—the beating heart of our movement.

You’ll design and nurture a world-class community experience that blends learning, collaboration, and collective action, while embodying the deep, human connection we want to see more of in the world.

You’ll translate the “Rithm magic” into scalable structures and rituals; cultivate meaningful relationships with members; and create the conditions for people to learn together, prototype solutions, and build the movement toward a more connected future.

  • As our Senior Designer, you’ll be at the intersection of imagination and implementation —helping turn big ideas into tangible products, experiences, and responsive support that empower our network to act.

Your role spans both our major engines of work:

    • Changemaker Network design strategy — facilitating breakthrough collaboration among network members and bringing design thinking to their bold ideas for strengthening connection and conscious AI use.

    • Creative Studio creation and craft — shaping beautiful, resonant content and experiences (from zines and card games to immersive facilitations) that bring Rithm’s insights to life.

Org-level integration and learning — connecting what we learn from our network to what we create in the studio, evolving our strategy, and expanding our partnerships with other creative leaders.

Why We Do This Work

Loneliness, fragmentation, and disconnection are defining challenges of our time — especially for younger generations growing up alongside rapidly advancing technology that promises to simulate many of the things that once made humans distinct.

At The Rithm Project, we don’t just study these dynamics.

We build research, tools, narratives, and communities that help young people reclaim agency, belonging, and relational depth in a world shaped by AI.
