Head of Network

The Rithm Project is building the multigenerational leadership force needed to reclaim and evolve human connection in the age of AI. Amid rising youth isolation and technologies with the power to unite or separate us, we connect people and ideas that move us toward a more relational and humane future.

We do this through two intertwined strategies:

  1. The Creative Studio — designing tools, experiences, and content that spark a broad movement of young people becoming savvy consumers of AI and advocates for connection.

  2. The Changemaker Network — uniting cross-sector, multigenerational leaders to redesign the spaces and systems where young people grow up so that connection thrives and AI is integrated in healthy ways.

The Opportunity

As our Head of Network, you will be the architect, steward, and catalyst of The Rithm Project’s Changemaker Network—the beating heart of our movement.

You’ll design and nurture a world-class community experience that blends learning, collaboration, and collective action, while embodying the deep, human connection we want to see more of in the world.

You’ll translate the “Rithm magic” into scalable structures and rituals; cultivate meaningful relationships with members; and create the conditions for people to learn together, prototype solutions, and build the movement toward a more connected future.

What You’ll Do

This role will own community strategy & facilitation, network growth & partnerships, serving as the primary relationship holder for our community members.

20% Community Strategy: Set the vision, build the rituals and systems.

  • Design the long-term vision, strategy, and annual roadmap for the Changemaker Network.
Build and manage the internal systems that make the Network run—member data, relationship management, engagement dashboards, and tools that help people find each other quickly.

  • Track emerging ideas and solutions across the community, identifying what needs amplification, resourcing, or deeper exploration.

  • Partner with the Head of Content Studio and Head of Research to surface high-leverage insights, stories, and patterns from the Network for broader influence.

35% Relationships + Coaching: Know the people, unlock their power.

  • Serve as a primary relationship holder for community members—building trust, learning their work, and understanding their needs and aspirations.

  • Offer light but catalytic thought-partnership to help members refine ideas and advance solutions that strengthen human connection in the age of AI.

  • Make intentional, high-quality matches—connecting members with peers, collaborators, and opportunities that accelerate their impact.

  • Maintain regular touchpoints to ensure members feel supported, activated, and meaningfully connected to the Network.

30% Community Facilitation:  Design the spaces where connection thrives.

  • Lead the design and facilitation of Network gatherings—virtual, in-person, small-group, and large-scale. Sometimes this means directly holding the pen and sometimes it means supporting others (Rithm team; other network members) to design strong experiences.

  • Build rituals, norms, and shared practices that reinforce The Rithm Project’s ethos of deep, human connection.

  • Capture ideas, resources, learnings from events that can both help us improve, but also that can be shared across the network in bite-sized, actionable ways.

15% Network Growth & Partnerships: Bring in the people who make us stronger.

  • Identify priority gaps in expertise, lived experience, and perspective—and strategically recruit new members who expand the Network’s diversity and capability.

  • Spot and cultivate opportunities for collaboration and amplification—moments where member work or Network insights should be elevated to a larger stage.

This role is for you if you…

  • Believe connection is the most vital technology we have—and want to help a generation reclaim it. You bring this commitment to relationships into every facet of your leadership and life.

  • Are an exceptional convener and facilitator who builds trust quickly and can hold space across diverse identities, ages, roles, and backgrounds.

  • Think in systems and act in relationships—able to zoom out to see network patterns while zooming in to spot opportunities and needs at the individual level.

  • Are a catalytic coach. In a 45-minute conversation, you can understand what someone is trying to build, surface what’s holding them back, and unlock clarity, confidence, and actionable next steps.

  • Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy prototyping new processes, experiences, and ways of bringing people together.

  • Are motivated by empowering others—especially emerging and young leaders—and cultivating a culture grounded in generosity, curiosity, and co-creation.

Experience

We’re seeking someone whose professional journey includes many (but not necessarily all) of these experiences:

  • 8–12 years in community building, network leadership, organizing, movement-building, or convening cross-sector groups.

  • Demonstrated excellence in facilitation—across virtual, hybrid, and in-person environments—creating spaces where people feel energized, connected, and able to go deep quickly.

  • Comfort designing and running learning structures (communities of practice, collaboratives, working groups, or cohort-based experiences).

  • Experience coaching leaders or teams, with a track record of helping people clarify ideas, navigate obstacles, and move from insight to action.

  • Strong relational instincts and experience managing a portfolio of relationships across diverse roles, backgrounds, and sectors.

  • Operational competence—able to build simple, elegant systems for relationship management, member data, and community engagement.
