Ife Oluborode

Ife is 20 and studying Computer Science and Engineering at Princeton, graduating 2028. He walked onto the football team as a freshman, something his under-resourced high school program never let him experience, then made the harder call to quit by sophomore year so he could focus on research and building. He founded Paw2Paw, a peer-support platform, and does NLP research on under-resourced Kenyan languages — work that once led him to detour alone to a children's center outside Kisumu after a stranger struck up a conversation about his backpack at an airport.

He's candid about the tension in his own life: the same algorithmic feeds he worries are engineered to hijack underdeveloped brains are also where he first found people who understood him. That contradiction, more than any single technical question, is what he wants to spend the fellowship working through.
